Today's WORD: Let's forgive to be forgiven!

Forgive your neighbor the wrong he has done, and then your sins will be pardoned when you pray. (Sirach 28:2)

Meditation
This Word of God tells us that we should forgive the wrongs of our neighbor in order to be forgiven. This is also the essence of the Heavenly Father
prayer which Jesus taught his disciples when they asked him to teach to pray.

So, let's recite this Word of God and decides not to keep anything wrong against our neighbor but rather will forgive his sins. Let's also humble ourselves before God and say that we are also sinners and we require HIS GRACE to survive.

Jesus also has told that no one will be forgiven unless they forgive others. Remember the parable of the wicked slave who received mercy after pleading for it at the point of being sold. Ponder over what happened to him after he failed to pardon his fellow slave who owed him a very small amount!

So, let's ask the Holy Spirit to shower his mercy and blessings and let us strive hard to cultivate this habit in us.
